I am excited and nervous! Just yesterday I found out that one of Iceland's volcanoes has decided to wake up after being dormant for nearly 300 years. The volcano is in the south-eastern corner of Iceland which is where I am supposed to be next Sunday.....for 2 days....hiking on a glacier and exploring ice caves on a nearby glacier covering a nearby volcano....It couldn't have waited another 2wks before waking up? Seriously, how rude! Last time an Icelandic volcano erupted it closed down almost all of Europe's airspace, right down to Italy & Spain! Fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed that DOES NOT happen in the next 2wks!
Anyways, Wednesday night is departure time! First stop is London and I get to indulge in my Harry Potter fantasy world! Very excited to be visiting Platform 9 3/4, Diagon Alley and the Harry Potter Studios as well as all the normal London sights!
